Designed by the Hungarian born Architect and furniture Designer Marcel Breuer, the design was revolutionary in the use of materials and manufacturing methods, mimicking the feeling of a classic armchair while removing all the excess pieces. Tubular structure in bent and chromed steel, with original deep brown leather upholstery showing beautiful age related patina.
