Unique, Mid Century stone table lamp, originating from Denmark 1960's. A very striking blend of design and originality, the spectacular base is crafted from a solid piece of chalky coloured limestone, in a floating layered design, carefully and precisely executed. The strong footprint of the base is balanced by a large drum shade, crafted in rattan and edged with chrome. The surprising and unexpected material elements create a powerful visual effect, both industrial and organic. A very interesting and highly appealing piece of 1960's lighting design, with an enormous amount of presence and style.
